Runic mechanism
This is a memory puzzle, not the Iblis mutation hunt.

Evidence and scope
This walkthrough is based on the community Deepchord article and Answer the Machine route notes, not a personal puzzle test. Iblis's Runic-creature request is separate from Pell's mechanism.
What is written down
First complete Pell's six-note-rock objective in Bluestone Caverns. The community Deepchord article lists a completed cavern Index and approximately level 40 before accepting that quest.
Watch the order displayed by the machine, then interact with the matching stones in the same order. The checked sources do not establish one universal input sequence, reset penalty, or randomized-pattern rule.
The individual Deepchord article describes five to seven increasingly difficult memory matches. Do not treat a single recorded pattern as the solution to every round.
The altar opens access to Deepchord, reported at 16,000 Chimes. Check the purchase prompt: solving the mechanism is not evidence that the instrument is free.
- Watch.
- Repeat the order.
- Continue until the altar or panel opens.
FAQ
Is this the Runic mutation quest?
No. This page covers Pell's memory mechanism and Deepchord. Iblis's request for Runic creatures belongs to the Sanctum progression and is not solved by repeating these stones.
