Evidence and scope
The community Shard article was read through the MediaWiki API on October 19, 2026. It explicitly labels enchanting as speculation. A research-cited TechWiser report describes upgrades, but returned HTTP 403 in this audit. Missing badge text does not prove the system is absent.
What not to mix up
Mutations are prefixes on creatures. Enchants are modifiers players ask about on gear. The sources used for this pass did not include a developer enchant table.
Instrument passives, such as the Magus' Requiem note about corruption and catch speed, are not the same as an enchant menu.
Until a primary source lists the menu, use the in-game enchant screen if you have one, and treat web lists as unverified.
| Claim | Evidence | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Wishing Shard, 375–625 Hz | Community INDEX World table | Recorded frequency, not proof of use |
| Shard used at Sanctum Magus | Community Shard article | Community report |
| Shard improves Resonance or Luck | TechWiser cited in research; unavailable this pass | Not independently reverified |
| Enchant names, costs, odds, best build | No developer menu or gameplay capture | Not established |
Is there a best enchant?
No sourced comparison is available. A best-enchant ranking would require a real menu, comparable effects and costs, and a tested objective. Instrument passives and creature mutation prefixes cannot substitute for that evidence.
